Vfolio provides tools for creating and sharing digital business cards, online profiles, and related services. This policy explains how Vfolio handles personal information when you visit our website, use an account, view a public card or store, or contact us.
People who create a card or store choose what information to publish and may receive information from their own visitors and customers. Those creators are responsible for their own content and for explaining their privacy practices to those people. This policy covers information that Vfolio handles to operate its platform.
Information we collect
Account and profile information: name, email address, login credentials, business details, contact details, profile images, social links, and other information you add to a card, profile, or store.
Interactions and transactions: messages, contact form submissions, booking or appointment details, order and billing details, payment status, and support correspondence. Payment providers process payment details; Vfolio may receive transaction identifiers and confirmation, but does not need your full card number to manage an order.
Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referral information, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs. We also use cookies and similar browser storage as described below.
How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts; publish the cards, profiles, and stores you choose to share; deliver messages, bookings, orders, and support; process subscriptions and other purchases; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain security; and improve the reliability and performance of Vfolio.
Where applicable, we use information to meet legal and accounting obligations and to send service notices. We send promotional messages only where permitted, and you can opt out of them. If you choose an AI assisted feature, information you submit to that feature may be processed to produce the requested output.
Depending on where you live, these activities may rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, compliance with law, or your consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent for future processing at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Public cards and information from others
A card or store owner controls the details they make public. Information on a public page can be viewed, shared, downloaded, or saved by other people. Please publish only information you intend to make available to them.
When you submit a contact form, booking, testimonial, or store order on a creator’s page, that creator receives the information needed to respond or fulfil your request. Their use of that information is also governed by their own privacy practices. If you signed in through an external account, we may receive the basic account details that you authorize that provider to share.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies and browser storage keep you signed in, protect forms, remember settings, and make the service work. If optional analytics or third party features are enabled, they may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits or provide their features. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls shown on the site; blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of Vfolio from working.
When we share information
We share information with the card or store owner you interact with, with payment processors for purchases, and with providers that help us host, deliver email, provide analytics or AI features, prevent abuse, or run features you choose to use. These providers receive information needed for their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
External links, social networks, and payment pages may have their own privacy policies. Information processed by those services is subject to their terms. We do not sell personal information for money.
Storage, transfers, and security
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate purposes such as resolving disputes, preventing abuse, maintaining records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it was collected. Public content remains available until its owner removes it or the account is closed, subject to backup and legal retention needs.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or remove much of your account and public card information in your account settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
For information you gave directly to a card or store owner, contact that owner as well. You may also raise a concern with the privacy authority in your location where that right is available.
Children and changes to this policy
Vfolio is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here with a new last updated date and provide additional notice when required.
